ASNU’s continuing program into injector research has led to the Company designing a new product range and program of diagnostics for the Marine sector. The Company’s ethos was to understand the depth of the market and create a target specific product suite to meet a demand of injectors known within the sector as deemed end of life or those that required a diagnostic view to determine an intermittent running in service. Marine injectors in all is guises are generally operating within strict tolerances and perceived performing in the harshness of environments such as being subjected to sea salt corrosion.
It is of no consequence that these elements compounded lead to an injector’s life expediency requiring attention at some time within usage cycle to review fuel flow characteristics, test and service.
ASNU has a product range offering a test and service solution for gasoline marine fuel injectors. Utilising our diagnostic flow bench designs and injector driver products ASNU is able to offer and injector test and service either through our engaged authorised ASNU test centres or purchase direct our designated machine products and enter the ASNU MARINE PROGRAM.
As a consequence of ASNU’s World leadership in injector diagnostics various Aviation manufactures have approached our special purpose team to engineer and supply an injector program to support their engine builds. Aviation like other vehicle sectors has exacting standards that must be met in performance reliability and deliver robustness in the harshness of operating conditions and temperature ranges.
ASNU currently supplies injectors to specialists in the aviation Rotary engine sector. The Rotary engine is seen by many with its relative lightweight and strong engine performance as a growing market potential not only within the smaller aircraft manufactures but the ever increasing use of aerial drones. ASNU is actively involved in research and development in this field and has already conceived new injector technologies and delivery dynamics to support Rotary engine development. The company is buoyant that this injector development is unique within the Aviation industry and will harness new thoughts on aircraft engine design operating within the extremes of temperature ranges such as those operating private and commercial aircraft, military aircraft and un-manned aerial drone vehicles.
Commercial and Mass Transit Vehicles
ASNU has engineered a retrofit liquid petroleum gas (LPG), compressed natural gas (CNG) system which since 2015 has been deployed and and continues to roll out across a major bus company operating fleets that span the Provinces of France. The ASNU system has led to superior performance, reduced fuel consumption, constant emissions and enhanced reliability. Our case study in France over a sample of 16 buses reported that with recovery, spare vehicles, parts inventory, additional workshop staff, overtime and fuel usage calculated significant euro savings per annum. Many Cities throughout Europe and the World are sourcing more and more ways to create a cleaner environment for their citizens. A factor is the increase in polluting vehicle emissions and especially highlighted on commercial vehicles running on diesel. ASNU is at the forefront creating a program for change in commercial vehicles with a tried and tested LPG/CNG system which can either be deployed on existing LPG/CNG vehicles or a supplementation system where modification is minimal.
